Lord Krishna,s Birth Day

JAI SHRI KRISHNA,
Next day in the morning , there is great celebration in Gokul Dham. As they celebrate HIS Birth Day next day in the morning in GOKUL by offering CHHAPPAN BHOG to Bhagwan ji ,we try to imitate in a small way:
We had our rich Lunch with Kotu Dahi Pakori ; Okra, Zucchini, Loki and Arbi vegetables; poories; Adrak, Chilly with lemon salad and finally with sweets- Ras Malai and coconut burfi. In the afternoon, we did readings of Bhagvat for some time.
In the evening, we had Hanuman Chalisa and Sunderkand.
But, certainly, the best thing is to follow HIS teachings in Geeta.
Jai Shri Krishna

JAI Shri Krishna:
On 22nd August, 2011, we celebrated Shri Krishna Janamashthttp://www.blogger.com/img/blank.gifmi in a very simple and humble way.Had tea in the morning, curd potato, Kotu Pakori in the lunch; Banana , cucumber and Lemon chaat, Kotu Prantha, potato, Zucchini vegetables, coconut burfi etc. in the dinner; It was simple prasad offered to Lord as Sushma still can not work in the kitchen as she can not stand by herself for sufficient time needed for cooking. In the evening read BHAGVAT for about an hour.We have to remember HIM as he has given us the great gift of HIS teachings in GEETA: " Do your Karam according to your Dharam without expecting the result of your actions". However, establishing your Dharam is not so easy, if that is done then rest of it may not be difficult to follow. GOD bless all of us with the wisdom to understand the philosophy HE has given to us.

CRUISE Trip to Alaska

CRUISE Trip to Alaska
Time and Perceptions are the important things for any action. We very much wished to visit Grand Canyons and Las Vegas in USA and to go on a cruise trip to Alaska, but could not decide it at the right time. We had forgotten it but it is when Mr. Gandhi told about his impressions and experiences about the Alaska , Las Vegas and Grand Canyon Trip in one go of a three weeks program, it reminded me about this program. he told me that he and his two daughters, son and their families and other relatives had this wonderful trip.
To day, now at this age and stage of our health, we can not think of visiting these places. it is very important to take right decision at the right time.

Lala Ladli Prasad Bansal

Shri LADLI PRASAD BANSAL:

I met Shri Ladli Prasad Bansal in Saharanpur in 1970 while negotiating matrimonial alliance of my younger sister, Raj with his son Rajendra Bansal. In our first meeting itself, he impressed me with his simplicity, complexity and confidence in himself and his achievements and future plans. He had been struggling so far with all the odds of his life and situation created around him; taking care of two grown up sons, Rajendra and Suresh from his first wife who died when these children were only kids so he took care of them like a mother. I noticed that he did not have a good social network of his relations like brothers, sisters, cousins etc. I found him lonely and alone.

In 1970, he had been working at Lord Krishna Sugar Mills at a very low salary and living in a very small accommodation provided by his employers on the campus of the sugar factory. Located on the bank of an active and open drainage, one room place with an open air toilet with a gunny bag door was really small for his two grown up daughters, Sushma and Sunita, and three grown up sons, Rajendra, Suresh and Pramod. Shri Ladli Prasad working in the sugar mill and part time at his small shop, was very hard working person but full of hope to progress in life.

Raj was married to Rajendra in February 1971 and joined the Bansal family. She was very lucky like a silver tree in that family. The family started progressing and now one can see the amount of progress and development with a big house to live, big business of oil expellers and oil business; and lot of property here and there - a real prosperous family. He lived a full satisfying life to bring the family to this stage of development. He achieved the purpose of his life in a very meaningful way. He cared the most for Pramod, loved the most Sachin and neglected poor Suresh and his family. He expected a lot from Sachin as he thought that Sachin was the only promising, intelligent and smart person in the family. Rajendra died prematurely, just before his retirement. Suresh could never settle well in his life.

Considering the present situation of the family and the balance sheet of Social and Spiritual capital, though Suresh is the most neglected one and the poorest in the family, having two sons, is going to be the flag bearer of Bansal family. Pramod has problem of having children so he adopted a girl and carries over the established business of his father. I found his mother (second wife of Shri Ladli Prasad) also very caring and loving. In fact, she and Lala Ladli Prasad looked after Raj and Rajendra’s handicapped child- the first one - Reena from childhood to her marriage like their own child. Raj and Rajendra almost abandoned her from the beginning. Pramod is also very caring and loving person. In fact, I found that whole family is quite loving and caring. My daughter, Sapna who spent two years living there with her bua, Raj, has also the same opinion. I regarded Lala Ladli Prasad as my demi-god, respected him from the core of my heart. He used to be always very happy seeing me whenever I visited him. He died in 2009. Converting his Social Capital, he carries a lot of SPIRITUAL CAPITAL with him after his death. I pay my heartiest tribute to him. He will always remain in my memory.
